Bev’s Anti-Inflammation Tonic (BAIT)

October 10, 2016 By PJ Glassey

Got inflammation? Most people do – especially those who insist on eating the Standard American Diet (SAD). Here’s a tonic to help reverse that, but the best case would, of course, be to eat healthy foods AND drink this tonic!

Besides reducing overall inflammation in the body, this tonic also helps with digestion, so you can drink it right before, during or even after a meal.

Got heartburn, GERD or arthritis? It has been reported to help with those too!

Ingredients:

2 Tbsp organic, raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar (or more to taste).

4 Tbsp organic lemon juice.

1 tsp stevia glycerite.

.5 Tbsp cinnamon (or more to taste).

10 oz. filtered water.

Optional, for those who like it spicy: 2 slices jalapeno.

Instructions:

Stir or blend and enjoy! Some people like it right away, while others find that it’s an acquired taste, but regardless, continued use produces amazing results!

6/23/19 update: Here’s another version using ginger, another massively anti-inflammatory food:

-Steep 1/2 cup shredded fresh ginger in 16 oz. filtered boiling water (I just let it sit until it’s cooled off).
-Add 4 oz. apple cider vinegar.
-Add 12 oz. filtered water.
-Add 1 teaspoon cayenne
-Add 1 teaspoon turmeric
-Add Stevia to taste
-Blend and enjoy (I just use a coffee foamer)
