Queg’s Quantum Collagen Jello-Ohhhhh!

Jonesin’ for some Jell-O, but also for some bone-building, skin-tightening, hair-growing, and nail-hardening collagen? Well, this is your lucky day!

Here’s what to do:

Get some Jell-O (my fav brand is pictured above because it’s sugar-free and delish.)

Follow the instructions on the box, but add two tablespoons of hydrolyzed collagen (per box – I used two boxes to make this amount of Jell-O.)

The hydrolyzed collagen will mix in with water, hot or cold, but it’s easier to do that during the hot water step because there’s more water to work with. I used my blender, but on a low speed pulse so it doesn’t make bubbles.

Add Stevia glycerite to taste. I like it really sweet, so I add about a teaspoon per box.

Then pour it into your Jell-O mold(s) and follow the refrigeration instructions on the box.

Pro Tip: this is also a great snack when you don’t want to eat something that is calorie-dense when you’re not really hungry (i.e. boredom hunger, or emotional eating).

P.S. Adding the hydrolyzed collagen will change the texture, but not the flavor since it is tasteless. I only mention this because some people are sensitive enough to texture that they feel like it does change the flavor (and not in the good direction), so you can leave the hydrolyzed collagen out in that case, and just know that you’re still getting collagen, but just not as much, or as absorbable as adding the hydrolyzed type.
